Description
Whether it's a home, holiday home or investment, this property ticks every box and has been lovingly maintained by the present owner. From the unique designer-stained glass in the wooden front door, to the original corbels and fireplaces, this home has plenty of period features and character. The owner has even replicated the style of the front and rear windows in double glazed Georgian style sashes and ensured the original fireplace is in full working order. It could be sold nearly fully furnished and would make an ideal Airbnb again as it previously rated 9.9 on Booking.com. This home benefits from an entrance lobby to the first floor with further stairs to a separate entrance on the lower ground. A spacious hallway with original corbels and stairs down to the rear entrance and an extra WC, a bedroom which is currently used as an additional lounge, a large bathroom with freestanding bath and shower cubicle. The second floor is home to two double bedrooms with the landing having further storage and access to the boarded loft. The lower ground is the hub of the house with an open plan living area with multifuel stove and the fitted kitchen/diner. If required, this area could be divided again as the doors are still in situ. The sunny walled rear garden with gated rear access is the perfect sun trap and even has its own electric ring main allowing the potential for a rear extension. This property is ideally located in a quiet street but just a few minutes from the cliff tops. This home really does need to be viewed to appreciate all it has to offer.

Vendors Comments
We are writing this sitting in the sunny garden, sipping coffee and stuffing croissants from Waitrose wondering why we are leaving. We moved here in 2006 from London and have not regretted it once. The pleasure of waking up every morning to fresh clean sea air can’t be understated. Strangely enough, family love to visit us, something they never did when we lived in London! We have a special secret – that is the parking to be found in the rear alleyway although not designated few people know it is there. In all the time we have lived here, we can honestly say that there have been very few occasions when we have not been able to park outside the rear of our house. Our street is a delight. It is so quiet, pretty and the neighbours are fantastic. They are friendly and we help each other out. The beach is less than 5 minutes away and with the Thanet microclimate, we get the best of the weather. Other pleasures include everything from countryside walks, day trips to London, retail therapy at the Ashford designer outlet, vibrant eateries on the seafront through to day trips to France. Ramsgate Highstreet lives! With both chains such as Waitrose, Boots, Holland and Barrett, Iceland to independent stores selling all sorts of things. There is a Friday market with a fabulous fruit and vegetable stall and an Aldi and Home Bargains all within walking distance. The Medical practice is also a short walk and we actually have an NHS dentist who currently is taking on new clients – rare indeed. It is like living on holiday, so why are we leaving – We want a new adventure – it’s as simple as that. If we could take this house with us, we would.
