This is also the case with this manor, also called Chateau (de) Cussy from the time it was founded. It was built around 1850 by a large landowner. Her staff lived in the annexes.
For generations, the domain had an agricultural function, which can also be seen from the many large barns. In 2000, the domain was taken over by the current owners, who, in consultation with the local population, restored the main building to its original state as much as possible.

You drive through a beautiful gate into the courtyard.

The original main entrance is at the front of the building, but you can easily enter the building via the kitchen or the reception area (now serving as a library) on the side of the courtyard.

The spacious kitchen is a great space to prepare a delicious meal in the company of family or friends. Cooking is currently done on gas and electric. After this space you enter the reception area which is now furnished as a library/office. Continuing on you enter the enormously spacious living room which runs from the front to the back and contains a beautiful fireplace with an insert wood stove.
On this floor there is another spacious bedroom with private bathroom at the front and the entrance at the front with hall and staircase.

Via a fixed staircase you enter the spacious attic which is currently not in use, except for some storage of things.
Underneath the entire house is a cave, of which 1 part is furnished as a wine cellar and 1 part for the boilers and laundry room.

On the property there are two very large barns and other outbuildings that can be furnished/used as desired. The roofs of these barns have been completely renovated.
