It's a 5 minute walk to the local park Haydons Road Recreation ground and Merton Mills is 20 minutes walk away through a conservation wildlife area. It's in an area where you'd feel relatively safe when walking home in the evening. It's very near the vibrant, popular high street with masses of shops and the old village where you can sit and have a coffee and watch the world go by...

A parking permit is available at a reasonable price if you have a car. Free parking after 6.30pm and on Sundays, plenty of parking so no problems with finding a space.

Since the landlord does maintain high standards,  it would be nice to have someone of a similar mindset who has the need for a clean and tidy place to come back to. Definitely a non-smoker required.
