It's a large flat with a big landing and open plan kitchen/living room area - a good place to come back to and relax after a long day at work. A flat full of charm & character, very homely. The flat is maintained to a very high standard of decor & any other issues are dealt with immediately by the landlord. There are fantastic views over the park at the back. Both bedrooms are very spacious and bright, there's masses of storage space. There is a large bathroom with shower and bath. This flat is not suitable for cyclists as there's nowhere to store a bike.
The flat is a 12 minute walk to Wimbledon Station, a 10 minute walk to South Wimbledon (Northern Line) and an 8 minute walk to Haydons Road. It's a 5 minute walk to the local park Haydons Road Recreation ground and Merton Mills is 20 minutes walk away through a conservation wildlife area. It's in an area where you'd feel relatively safe when walking home in the evening. It's very near the vibrant, popular high street with masses of shops and the old village where you can sit and have a coffee and watch the world go by...
A parking permit is available at a reasonable price if you have a car. Free parking after 6.30pm and on Sundays, plenty of parking so no problems with finding a space.
Since the landlord does maintain high standards, it would be nice to have someone of a similar mindset who has the need for a clean and tidy place to come back to. Definitely a non-smoker required.
