Part of the Prince`s Trust Programme is the outstanding "Warriner School Farm", a Senior State run school within the catchment area of Broughton covering 120 acres of livestock and crop enterprises, offering Lambing Open Day viewings to the public. Bloxham Grove Academy, is a new rural state run Special Needs School. Bloxham and Sibford`s Private Schools, located either side of the village specialises in boarders and day students. In the surrounding villages are a number of small junior schools with additional junior and senior schools in Banbury and a College of Further Education.
LIFESTYLE LEISURE:
Banbury`s recently redeveloped canal side Walk and Park area includes new eateries, a cinema, bus station and museum. Tooley`s Boat Yard is also situated here in the heart of the town, on the South Oxford Canal. The boat yard was established in 1778 and is one of the oldest working dry docks on the Inland Waterways. Narrow boats can be hired from Napton or Bicester. Nearby is The village of Cropredy which has a Canal Boat Marina offering storage and night stop-overs. Cropredy also hosts Fairport Convention. A visit to the Brasenose Inn in Cropredy for good food is recommended!
