Description
A stunning conversion of a former Methodist chapel on the edge of a quaint Yorkshire village.
Description
This stunning former Methodist Chapel has been exquisitely restored and thoughtfully reimagined into a captivating home, rich with original character and charm.
Spanning nearly 2,900 square feet, this impressive conversion offers spacious accommodation mainly over two floors whilst enjoying an open plan feel and making the most of its ecclesiastical features.
Upon entering, there is a welcoming entrance hall which leads through to the magnificent sitting room with vaulted ceilings and large decorative windows bathing the space in natural light. A raised dining area has been created within the chapels original pulpit, which has again been meticulously restored and serves as an incredible centerpiece for entertaining.
The bespoke kitchen is equipped with an Aga, high-end Miele appliances, a wine cooler and a traditional Belfast double sink. Adjacent to the kitchen, a practical utility room has been created. The ground floor accommodation also boasts two spacious bedrooms, each complemented by contemporary en suite bathrooms. Off the sitting room is a shower room with an infra-red sauna completing the ground floor accommodation.
A bespoke and ornate spiral staircase, crafted from the chapel’s original pews, leads to the first floor with two additional bedrooms. Both bedrooms benefit from dressing rooms and luxurious bathrooms, featuring stunning freestanding roll-top, claw-foot baths.
Outside, the property is accessed via a shared driveway, owned by the Chapel, leading to the patio area and lawned gardens, ideal for al fresco dining.
Additionally, the property includes a self-contained one bedroom annexe, named The Cow Shed, providing versatile accommodation options.
