You will be required to pay one month's rent of between £598.78 depending upon the type of apartment; in advance prior to the tenancy start day. Please note that if you are claiming or Housing Element of Universal Credit there are some service charges that would not be covered. These include £8.37pcm administration charge, £3.60pcm personal alarm charge, £44.10pcm personal heating charge, £0.28pcm site licences charge, and £7.85pcm support charge. A Lettings Officer can give you a full break breakdown of the charges of what is eligible for payments.
If you are accepted and do become a Platform Housing Group tenant, you will be offered a starter tenancy. If there have been no breaches or issues within the first year of your tenancy you will be considered for an assured lifetime tenancy.
Please be aware / Universal Credit will only pay for the property you are living in and you will need to give notice on your current tenancy.
If you are successful in being offered this property you will be contacted by the Lettings Officer and you will need to complete an application form. At this stage the Lettings Officer will confirm the rent and service charges.
