Muirhouse is an increasingly popular residential area of Edinburgh situated to the north of Ferry Road between Granton and Trinity.

There is a selection of local shops including a Morrisons on Ferry Road. It is also well located for Craigleith Retail Park that has both an M&S and a Sainsbury's, the Gyle shopping centre with its plethora of high street retailers and Ocean Terminal at Leith.

Both Craigroyston Primary School and Oaklands School that provides a significantly adapted and supportive learning environment are in close proximity.

There are several local parks and the promenade at Silverknowes offers marvelous walks along the Firth of Forth to Cramond Village. Ainslie Park Leisure Centre is nearby and has a swimming pool and a Pure Gym. There is a choice of golf courses and easy access to the cycle path network.

There are excellent transport links to the City Centre. It is also convenient for the City Bypass, Edinburgh International Airport and the Central Belt motorway system.
