The Cottage
The Cottage is a Grade II listed, four-bedroom property, parts of which date back to the 18th century. The property is built of coursed limestone and ironstone under a thatched and tiled roof. The accommodation is arranged over two floors and extends to approximately 1792sq ft (166sq m). The property is accessed via an entrance porch on the eastern side leading to a spacious kitchen / diner with quarry tiled floor and a range cooker. Further from the living room is a hall with a downstairs WC and a hidden staircase. On the western side of the cottage is a study, a further staircase to first floor and a south facing sitting room with quarry tiled floor and a set of double doors leading to the garden. Upstairs, there are four bedrooms, master with a balcony overlooking the garden and a walk-in wardrobe, shower room and further main bathroom.
