Description
Tucked away in a quiet cul-de-sac setting with direct access into the lovely Caldy Valley Nature Park, this home benefits from a peaceful, tree-lined position that makes it stand out from the rest. While the location offers excellent access to local schools, shops, and road networks, the leafy surroundings give the impression of a rural retreat—offering your very own slice of countryside just beyond the front door.
Upon entering, you’re immediately greeted by a sense of space. The entrance hall features a staircase rising to the first floor, with doors leading into the main living areas of the home. The lounge is situated to the side of the property and enjoys a lovely dual aspect, with a window to the front and patio doors opening out onto the rear garden. A key feature of the room is the vaulted ceiling and wood-burning stove, adding both character and warmth.
The open-plan kitchen is ideal for entertaining. It is fitted with a stylish range of wall and base units offering ample storage and work surface space, along with a range of integrated appliances. The kitchen benefits from full granite worktops and a large island with breakfast bar seating. A small sunroom further extends the kitchen, providing an attractive, light-filled seating area with a vaulted ceiling, Velux window and French doors opening onto the garden. The dining room is generous in size and could also serve as a fourth bedroom, guest accommodation or second sitting room, whilst the study adds flexibility for working from home. Finally, there is a useful utility area and a large and practical downstairs WC, an essential for modern family living. Upstairs, the landing gives access to three further bedrooms and a family bathroom. The main bedroom is a bright and spacious room with two windows and the benefit of a well-appointed ensuite, featuring attractive tiled walls and flooring. The remaining bedrooms are served by a stylish family bathroom fitted with a modern three-piece suite and complementary tiling.
Externally, the property occupies a generous plot at the end of the cul-de-sac. A driveway provides off-road parking and leads to a detached double garage. A side gate gives access to the enclosed area behind the garage, offering a practical space for concealed storage. The lovely rear garden features a paved patio that stretches across the back of the home. Steps lead up to an elevated lawn area, bordered by attractive wooden sleepers, and onward to a raised decked seating area—perfect for catching the late evening sun and enjoying a drink with family or friends.

The Seller's View!
No.5 has been our family home for the last 20 years. It's where we brought our babies home from the Countess and watched them thrive in Chester's excellent education provision, enjoying choices at primary and secondary level, all of which are accessible on foot/bike. We will miss our lovely garden and wonderful neighbours terribly. It has been an absolute privilege to live in Caldy Valley alongside the kingfishers, owls, bats and foxes, enjoying the constant sound of birdsong and popping out for a run or a walk straight from the front door, yet still have a supermarket and a beautiful city centre within easy walking distance, as well as fast motorway access. However, the time is right for us to venture further afield and let another family enjoy this peaceful home.
