I viewed a property I was interested in buying last September and Gareth showed me around. He was amazing, not pushy just genuinely helpful. I was not keen on the property he showed me but he offered his help with any other houses I was interested in purchasing even if not being sold with Carman Friend. You had an excellent understanding of the property and if you didn't have have an answer straight away to our questions you came back to us very quickly with a response. I think it's that relationship you have with your clients which sets you apart from the competition. Our house was sold by another local agent and whilst we were initially impressed, that soon faded when we were chasing them for things or having to show people around our house when they had nobody available to do it (which was the majority of time). We just seemed like a number on the books rather than a client they were acting for. As for dealing with yourselves from the beginning I found you very good to deal with you and extremely helpful and flexible fitting viewings in around myself and Gemma's available time, once at the viewings you made us feel very comfortable and were knowledgeable about the properties you were showing us. After visits there was no hard sale or pushing for decisions which was appreciated giving us time to make the right choices. Once an offer was made there did seem to be delays in responses but I know this was from the sellers side and appreciate it was a big decision for them also but you kept us update regularly and finally got our offer accepted. Once offer was accepted things moved quickly which was great for us as we were excited to get the keys and start the next step of our life. Brilliant! We met Gareth on our random 'let's view some houses' day and he was so down to earth and not one of these pushy salesman! He came across as really genuine and a nice guy which put us at ease as it was the first time we'd looked at houses! I was pleased with the personal service that Sami offered, nothing was too much trouble and she was always reachable. Whereas other estate agents are only open office hours and you deal with a team of people instead of an individual. They are also rubbish at returning calls, not mentioning any names!
