The cottage stands in private grounds of 1,000 mq, above the Torrente Barbeira, famous for its canyoning and its deep granite pools of sparkling emerald coloured water, ideal for swimming in summer.

The cottage is surrounded by a large terrace of 180 mq, dedicated to outdoor living, with porched dining area, barbecue zone etc. The house itself is of 74 mq with kitchen/dining room, living room, one bedroom and super modern bathroom. The house is mainly heated in the winter by pellet stove attached to the radiators and also has air conditioning. Both Dolceacqua and the also neighbouring village of Rocchetta Nervinia are justly famous medieval villages of the Ligurian entroterra. Full of bars and pretty restaurants, both villages have all the required amenities. The house is some 7 km to Ventimiglia and its easy motorway connection to France and Nice Airport in less than an hour.
