Sellers View..."We planned to stay in this house for five years and then move on. We have now been here for fifteen years, which shows how much we have loved this place. When we moved in, it had purple carpets, green walls, and a questionable design of a bathroom, but none of that mattered because the moment the front door opened, we fell in love with the feeling of the place. It has a great warmth. And, it was the perfect Tardis of unexpected space for our growing family.

The kitchen has always been the hub of the house. When our boys were little, we’d be cooking, they had the run of the playroom off to the side, the back door would be open, garden fenced off, and they’d be safe to have both inside and outside play. As they grew the playroom became a den; TV’s and Xboxes and a pretence to do homework. But, when evening hit, we would close the door on the mess in there, the layout of the house easily lending itself to do so, and the whole vibe of the house changed to calm and quiet. The lounge is deliciously cool in the summer heat, and upstairs is a haven to properly rest. But back to the kitchen; if rest and calm isn’t what you’re looking for, it is an excellent party space!

We are not gardeners; for us, the garden was a much-loved football pitch, with goals at either end. At Christmas time the round trees in the front garden look fab draped in fairy lights so they look like baubles. And when the snow settles on them, they look like Christmas puddings.

We knew nothing about Holmer Green when we moved here, but it has shaped our family. The schools are excellent, and all walkable; first holding hands with little ones, and then safe for older kids to walk independently with their mates. The sports association offers being part of Sunday football matches, weekday squash games and watching cricket with friends, perhaps with a drink on the veranda. There are walks across the fields through Penn Woods, or in the other direction you can easily walk to The Full Moon in Little Kingshill, both villages having excellent and well tested pubs.

Michael's View...I really like this home. The kitchen in the middle and two lounges either side. One for parents and the other for the children. I also like the potential on offer to extend this property further.
