Description
“There, no noises of the world reached us.” “Endless mornings, under the rays of the sun, sometimes amidst the buzzing of insects, the cow…” “Eternal afternoons, of sweet, silent sadness, in the same meadow, until nightfall.” “The soul tinged with the sweet, dreamy serenity of solemn and serious nature.” This text is part of the book “Goodbye, Cordera,” which conveys a bucolic perception of the Asturian countryside described by our celebrated author Leopoldo Alas Clarín and which may be evocative if you decide to visit the beautiful surroundings of Villar de Carcedo, where this typical and unique property is located, an inescapable part of the rural landscape of Asturias, which we now present to you. There are still little-known paradises in Asturias, and this, without a doubt, is one of them. Let's not allow them to disappear. And so you can say: Hello, Cordera!
Villar de Carcedo is a small town in the municipality of Valdés, part of the Vaqueira region. The property is made up of several sub-properties, all registered with their cadastral references, and most of them are registered in the Property Registry. In total, they occupy an area of approximately 30,000 m2, distributed among pastureland, woodland, and several buildings: a house in need of complete renovation, two stables, and a granary.
Communications are very good; access is via a well-maintained road and the property is located near several towns with amenities, such as Brieves (9 minutes by car) and Trevías (12 minutes). It is also relatively close to the western Asturian coast (15 km from La Cueva Beach, Valdés). Surrounded by mountains, it is far from the hustle and bustle of the city and located on the southern slope of Monte de la Trapa, where there is a recreational area with excellent views of the coast. The surrounding area offers a multitude of outdoor activities, including hiking, mountain biking, fishing, hunting, or simply sightseeing.
Regarding the buildings:
The house, built in 1880, has a constructed area of 77 m2, comprising a kitchen, a spacious living/dining room, two bedrooms, and a wooden hallway.
The first attached stable has approximately 84 m2 spread over two floors of 42 m2 each. The upper floor can be accessed from the house's wooden hallway.
The second stable, more recent and in better condition, occupies an area of 109 m2.
In front of the house is the 36 m2 granary.
The condition of the house, the attached stable, and the granary require extensive renovations.
Regarding the land:
The total area is almost 3 hectares, most of which is pastureland.
The entire complex has a formidable south-southwest orientation, and is partially surrounded by right-of-ways that allow for multiple access points to the different parts of the property. A stream also runs through it, supplying a fountain with crystal-clear water located within the property.
