Have been in Chesham since 1984 and in this property since 2003. I enjoy the nice peacefulness of this area. It’s got good education system and very low crime rate. Our house is located near a nursery, near a nice green at the back of the house, a big park about 2 minutes away and is located near Chesham Mosque, within 5 minute’s walk. We have been here since my father was alive, unfortunately he passed away and is buried in the cemetery about 5 away from the house.
We extended the house in the rear over the years because we have large family and need extra space, so we extended the house to the rear, did loft conversion making 2 extra double bedrooms. More recently, about 2 years ago we extended one of the rooms on ground floor and added an attached toilet/bathroom to it for my mother, who is disabled and was struggling to go up and down stairs. Getting rid of the house to consolidate all the loans, Mortgage and other bills, also kids getting married and moving to their own houses, so a 6-bedroom house is too big for us now.
I’m sure the next owners will enjoy living in this house as much as we have over the years, have lots of memories in this house, but have other needs now.
