This Villa is found in the town of Gallicano which is right at the beginning of the Garfagnana with the back drop of the Apuan Alps. The town's records begin as far back as 771 and the town is named after Cornelio Gallicano, the "Legendario".

The villa is set within 3000 mq of completely fenced park. It is 750 mq of building and could make a wonderful hotel.

Within the garden, there is a convenient outhouse which was built later on an consists of a laundry and outdoor kitchen.

The exterior of the villa was replaced in 2007, the roof has both bitumen paper and insulation. The stucco was redone and so were all the shutters replaced. The windows are the original ones though.

Underneath the house there are large storage rooms, cantinas and the boiler room. These rooms are actually registered as laboratories as, at some point, the owners produced artworks there. I wonder if they produced

The raised ground floor has double doors from the time that the villa was built i.e. between 1890 and 1930 typically hence a "Villa Libery".

The villa is divided into 2 apartments.

On the raised ground floor, there is a large hallway, a 30 mq sitting room with a fireplace. A large dining room and an eat-in kitchen. There are three bedrooms and a luxury bathroom with both a bathtub and shower down a couple of stairs. One of the rooms has a balcony of it.

Upstairs, the apartment has 2 bedrooms, a bathroom, a dining room, kitchen and double sized sitting room. Not all the rooms in this apartment have central heating.

The area is thriving with new elementary and middle schools. There is a sports complex within walking distance that offers, swimming, tennis and other sports all year round. In the summer, it is the location of the "Pane e Le Rose" music festival. In the winter, the large hall accommodates many events such as dinner-dances.
