This 18th-century fram house, located just outside Arles, has undergone a complete renovation and has been enhanced with eco-responsible contemporary extensions. The additions have been carefully designed to harmonise with the original structure built in rammed earth and pebbles, characteristic of regional architecture.

Two timber-framed wings have been added to the original building. Green roofs, bio-sourced insulation, and a geothermal heating system with heat pump were all implemented by architect Frédéric Nicolas, in line with an aesthetic and sustainable approach that honours the the spirit of the place.

Surrounded by open fields, the mas now offers over 200 m² of living space across two levels.
On the ground floor, a spacious double living room, an open-plan kitchen and dining area.

In the new architectural wings: a cosy lounge on one side, and on the other, a master suite with bathroom and walk-in wardrobe.
Notably, corner sliding doors sheltered by cantilevered roofs open fully to invite the surrounding landscape into the home.

Upstairs, there are four bedrooms and a family bathroom.
A separate workshop completes the property.

Set in peaceful countryside with no immediate neighbours, the grounds of over 3,000 m² are planted with endemic species. The father of the actuel owner have installed several contemporary sculptures in the landscaped garden, which also features a 11 x 4 metre swimming pool and a 19 m² outbuilding that serves as both a technical room and storage area for gardening tools.

Access: 10 minutes from Saint-Martin-de-Crau, 20 minutes from Arles city centre, and 50 minutes from both Marseille Provence Airport and the TGV high-speed train station.
