Location

Forton is a hamlet to the north of the A303 on the outskirts of Longparish set amongst some of Hampshire's finest countryside. The village of Longparish has a population of around 700 residents who enjoy this fabulous living environment, which includes many period houses, a village store, two public houses and a primary school (rated outstanding by Ofsted in 2013/14), post office, cricket club and 13th century church. The thriving community runs various social activity centres around its clubs and organisations.

The beautiful surrounding countryside offers various walks including part of the Test Way and hiking in Harewood Forest, which is to the west of the village, together with fishing on the upper Test. A wide range of amenities are available in Andover, with railway links also to be found at Whitchurch (London Waterloo approximately 1 hour) and easy access onto the A34 and A303 for links to London and the north and other directions
