Description

What can I say! Ready to move into , modernised over recent years, beautifully presented and extended to provide a stunning garden room. This 4 bedroom home has been finished to a high specification which is apparent as soon as you step into the hallway. A useful downstairs cloakroom, and understairs storage are the features of this space. Doors then open into the sitting room and Kitchen but you will soon discover that the whole downstairs has a wonderful open plan flow to it.

The sitting room has a lovely feature with the box bay window to the front and a space for a feature fire. Enough room for the sofa seating and as it flows through into the kitchen/dining room everywhere has a lovely light feel. Through into the generous kitchen/dining space and you will find space for a large dining table and an excellent kitchen at the opposite end. Comprehensively fitted with a well thought range of units, granite worktop and spaces for all appliances, this room is perfect for all busy families and chefs alike. The real standout feature downstairs, is the wonderful garden room which opens up from the dining area. This makes a great space to sit and relax whilst enjoying the garden from the warmth inside but could also make a superb playroom or hobby/art space.

Upstairs and the main bedroom is a good sized double bedroom with a range of built in wardrobes and a modern en suite shower room. Bedroom 2 is also a good double with built in wardrobes. Bedrooms 3 and 4 are generous single rooms and further storage is built into bedroom 3. The family bathroom has also been re fitted with a lovely modern but neutral feel.

Outside to the rear is a generous and sunny garden, well laid out with a patio seating area, mostly laid to lawn and with mature trees and shrubs. There is a really useful additional area to the side which provides an excellent spot for a shed and bins and a side gate brings you back to the front. Here a driveway provides parking for 2 cars and an integral garage is perfect for a car or additional storage. Alternatively, as many neighbours have before, the garage could be extended into to create further living accommodation.

The property is within easy walking distance of all of Atworth's local amenities which include 2 local children's nurseries, the village primary school, the village hall, and the popular "White Hart" community pub. A convenience shop and post office are located within the local garage and local produce can be found at the Lowden farm shop and garden centre. A 15-minute walk in the other direction and Whitley village offers you another superb pub in "The Pear Tree Inn", Spindles bike shop and cafe, golf and cricket club. Countryside walks are literally just across the lane, with miles of footpaths crisis-crossing the fields and through the woods. The Georgian city of Bath is easily accessible via car or bus with various routes picking up through Atworth. A wide variety of supermarkets from Aldi/Lidl to Waitrose and independent shops are available in nearby Melksham, and Corsham with its wandering peacocks is a short 10-minute drive as well. A small rail station is on offer at Melksham with larger mainline stations at Chippenham or Bath. Overall, the area offers countryside living with modern conveniences easily at hand. No wonder Atworth is such a popular village!

About Whitfields, Personal Property Experts, Powered by eXp, Corsham

Corsham, SN13 9SW

When I decided to set up my own estate agency, it was important to bring back the values that I felt have been lost over the years by other agents. We have 4 key goals which are to act with honesty, integrity, expertise and with a personal touch. Moving home can be stressful, and we are here to guide your through the process as your personal property advisor.

Instead of simply opening up more offices, I want each of our property professionals to be a specialist in their own area and provide the same exceptional level of service that we have become known for. All our property professionals are highly experienced and have the same passion to provide an outstanding level of service to you.

There are no plans to be the biggest agent in the many areas we cover, but we do aim to have the best repuation. Jaine herself has built an excellent following in the Corsham and Melksham areas, we are now expanding our areas through our growing team of specialist area property professionals.

Please do get in touch if you would like us to help you sell your home.
