Description

A beautiful 1930s Coastal Home with Stunning Gardens and paddock.

Description

Set on its own in a picturesque wooded valley along the coastal road between historic Tintagel and the picturesque fishing village of Boscastle, Ferny Park is a fabulous family home.

Built in the 1930s and retaining much of its original charm, the property has been tastefully maintained and is presented in excellent decorative order throughout.

This delightful home is set over three floors. You enter into a beautiful hallway, in turn you then enter into a spacious sitting room, bright reading room, dining room, and a generous kitchen/breakfast room, with oil fired Aga.

Upstairs you have a large landing, leading to the Principal bedroom with en suite shower room, three additional bedrooms, each with their own en suite shower rooms and a separate family bathroom. The third floor offers a very large fifth bedroom, which is very versatile, also has an en suite shower room.

Once outside, a detached chalet currently used as a utility/store room offers scope for conversion into an annexe. There is also a games room.

The gardens are very pretty, superbly stocked and surround the property, the rear patio (just off the reading room) has space to sit and relax and has a hot tub. There is a substantial paddock (about 2.6 acres) to the rear and a level garden area.

Location

Tintagel is a village on the rugged north coast of Cornwall.
Nestled in the tranquil and picturesque Rocky Valley, Ferny Park is just a short walk from the dramatic Atlantic coastline and the South West Coast Path. The popular village of Tintagel and several beautiful beaches are just a short drive away.
