Description
Comment from Robert Reed of Gascoigne Halman
Transformation is the best one word summary for the changes have been made in this impressive home in the last two years. The present owners are now relocating out of the area and thus a very rare buying opportunity is being offered to the market, with the house set in a special 0.33 acre plot and having a head of cul de sac position.
The changes have been comprehensive both inside and outside. Upgrades of note include, new front and rear doors, new flooring, some new windows, new personnel garage door, new kitchen, new bathroom, new en suite and the vast majority of radiators replaced. All this in addition to a range of improvements to the garden, including a new summer house, plus a radical change to the internal layout so as to create large light and bright spaces and also redecoration in every room.
In total there is just under 2000 square feet of space on offer and there can be as many as five bedrooms, one of which is ground floor and has a refurbished en suite. This a house of flexibility that can be adapted to suit individual needs. There are also very impressive solar panels that contribute to the very economic running costs and also create pleasing additional income.
Milbrook End is a tranquil cul de sac and there is a particularly lovely woodland walk through the Spinney, known as `Millennium Mile' accessed via the back gate of the garden. This leads directly to the Primary School and Church and then the High Street.
This is a great home for the growing family, or those downsizing from large country houses but who still want a beautiful private setting.
The double garage is of large proportion with a part boarded loft, there is ample parking and the garden is just fabulous. Family gatherings, children's parties or bigger social events would all be naturally hosted in this most wonderful space.
So, a great instruction as we head into June and one that I anticipate will attract good levels of early interest.
