Vendors Insight - We have been in our home for 19 years in August, having made the move from St Albans. It is the best thing we did. We wanted a home with space, potential, privacy. We got all of those things plus a lovely supportive community around us and countryside on our doorstep. All of this in a less than 10 minute drive back to St Albans.

We love watching the seasons change and sitting on the patio with a glass of wine listening to the birds.

We love the community events such as the annual Christmas party and ‘ginny on The Spinney’ every summer

We have neighbours that look out for us but, we are not in each other’s pockets.

We have great access to the M1, M25 and rail networks in to Euston.

We have great towns such as Tring and Berkhamsted which offer something different and have fabulous restaurants and pubs. We also love Aylesbury Waterside theatre which offers so much more than then the St Albans theatre and entertainment scene.

We love Old Town in Hemel with the fabulous park and its little theatre and the great coffee shops and restaurants and we enjoy walking along the canal, also with its restaurants and pubs, with our dog and, as we already said, the access to the countryside and quite literally miles of walking, is outside our back gate.

We shall be so sad to leave here but it’s just time to downsize.
