The village of Pelekas features a mini market, bakery and cafeterias which are available all year round. In the summer the village becomes much more vibrant and many other restaurants and cafeterias are available. The center of the village is literally a few steps away from the house.
A regural bus service runs to Corfu town multiple times a day. The nearest beach is Kontoyialos which features crystal clear waters and water sports.
