The apartment is in a seaside complex with 24 apartments, just a few steps from a long pebbly beach. It is located on the ground floor without steps or terraces and is therefore ideal for use by people with mobility problems. It is also easy to become fully accessible for people with wheelchairs. The complex is maintained in very good condition and has a communal swimming pool of approximately 30 m².

The beach has many areas with facilities or quieter places. It has crystal clear waters and there is a road suitable for cycling or running, along it. On the seafront you will also find various cafes and restaurants with great local cuisine. Within walking distance, you will find everything you need for your daily living as the area has a large supermarket, pharmacy, bakery as well as regular public transport to Chania or Kissamos, all year round. In the center of Platanias, which is less than 10 minutes' drive, you will find a bank, post office and several shops. The city and the airport of Chania are about 25 and 40 minutes' drive, respectively.
