Description

*** DRAFT ***

In 2002 Wincanton became the first UK town to be twinned with a fictional place when it linked with Ankh-Morpork, a fictional city in the Discworld novels from Sir Terry Pratchet. The name Peach Pie Street was selected from a list of 14 street names suggested by Sir Terry himself to the housing developer of the Kingwell Rise development. Pratchet was greeted by hundreds of fans - many dressed in costume - when he visited the town in 2009 to unveil the street names.

The property itself is a particularly well-presented modern townhouse in this popular residential area, within easy walking distance of the high street.

There is an entrance hall with doors off to kitchen/dining room, cloakroom, and sitting room, and a staircase leading to the first floor.

The kitchen has a ranged of wall and base units, an integrated gas oven, a four-ring gas hob, extractor hood, a stainless-steel sink with drainer, space with electrics and plumbing for a dishwasher, space with electrics and plumbing for a washing machine, space for a fridge-freezer, and space for a dining table.

The light bright sitting room has doors to the rear south-facing garden.

On the first floor there are two bedrooms, a family bathroom, and stairs leading to the second floor.

On the second floor is the principal bedroom with dressing area, built-in storage, and an en-suite shower room.

Outside there is a charming south-facing low maintenance rear garden with access to get to an off-site single garage. There is also driveway parking in front of the garage.
