Our clients acquired the property in 2016 from prior owners who had resided for several generations.  Whilst a number of improvements have been made, the original layout is still intact which, in our view, commands a certain charm all of its own.  A number of period features of that era are on display; stripped wood floor boards, panelled doors, picture rails and good room proportions.  It also means that an opportunity to extend / enlarge the accommodation still exists – by way of rear kitchen/dining/family room extension and / or loft conversion to create a fourth bedroom and second bathroom. Naturally, such work would require the usual local authority permissions.  However, given the vast number of similar extensions within in the area, consent is practically a forgone conclusion.

Outside, there is a shared driveway and garage (storage), whilst the front garden is hard landscaped to provide off-street-parking.  The rear garden is generous in size extending to just under 100ft, with lawn opening up behind the garage where a strategically placed seating area is found – a nice private and secluded spot.  The garden office with power and light is tucked away at the end of the garden.                 

Location: Greenfield Avenue is a lovely tree-lined road in a popular residential neighbourhood.  It is a vibrant and community focused area, about 0.75 of a mile from Berrylands train station with the A3 nearby giving swift access to the city centre by car.  It is also a stone's throw from Hogsmill public open space and Berrylands Park & Nature Reserve, local shops and outstanding schools. Surbiton has a cosmopolitan vibe, offering a mix of suburban tranquility and urban conveniences. The town centre (1.5m) offers superb shopping facilities and amenities and its mainline station with its fast-trains service gets you into London Waterloo in abt. 15-20 minutes.
