the property

This impressive detached property has been fully refurbished and renovated by the current owners, transforming  what was once 'The Old Butcher's Shop'.  Now it is a stylish, spacious and inviting family home!

Located off Eaton Bray High Street and set beyond a generous driveway, this home offers a high spec finish throughout. An entrance hall leads to an impressive living room to the front of the house. Large in scale and refined in presentation with Amtico flooring , there is a media wall with inset bio-ethanol fireplace creating a focus point. There is ample space for several large sofas, as well as a table and chairs if you so wish. Large windows fill the space with light, whilst crittal-style internal doors provide the style. With doors opening through to the true wow factor of this home, the kitchen-diner. Spanning the back of the house with a large island at its centre this room is straight out of a lifestyle magazine. With bespoke wooden countertops, on trend green units, with brass hardware, there is so much to like. Two sets of patio doors lead out onto the garden to create a real inside/outside feel. For practicality there is a separate utility/boot room with separate rear access and a downstairs WC.

Upstairs here are four good size bedrooms, the main bedroom boasting a stylish ensuite shower room, with a family bathroom servicing the others. There are charming views towards Ivinghoe Beacon to the rear to really remind you of what a stunning part of the world this home is located in.

Externally there is parking for several cars to the front, an electric car charge and side access. To the rear a landscaped garden comprising a large patio areas immediately to the rear of the house, ideal for al fresco dining, and a good size lawn area. There is also the added bonus of a brick-built outbuilding at the bottom of the garden. Yet to be defined, this space offers the opportunity for a home gym, office to den. What choices!

All in all this is truly one of a kind home is a great location, but please do not just take my word for it! Browse the photos, watch the video tour and then if you think this could be the home for you, get in touch to arrange a viewing.

It's always best to put your house on the market before you find a property

The estate agent acts for the seller and is there to get the seller the best price possible

Understand the length of time it can take - 14 weeks from when you accept an offer, or have an offer accepted to move in! A long time!

It can get stressful, but speak to your agent and your solicitor and they will put you in the picture

Be nice to estate agents - we're pretty nice people, offer some great advice and will help to get you moved ;-)
