Description
It's a big statement to say that Sandyhurst lane is "the most desirable road in Ashford" but it's certainly the most requested. Located on the edge of the countryside, minutes away from all the transport links you could need, and close to schools, shops and supermarkets.. it reads like a tick list of must haves.
Sandyhurst lane is also know for its bespoke properties and good sized plots, and this 4 bedroom "attached" bungalow is no exception. "Attached?" you say.. well yes, the property is linked by one room - so it's not like a fully semi detached property, and it feels like a detached home when you're inside - but at this point you'll have to take my word for it.
What doesn't strike you from the outside is the space on offer. This single storey home has a total area of 153 sqm - so there's alot of space here. From the front you may not imagine that, and stepping through the door might not give you that feel straight away - but this is a home that expands and excites as you move through it. You are first met by three bedrooms (two of which are doubles) and a family bathroom - and everything is well kept and beautifully presented.
From here you step into a sitting room, and this is where you begin to feel the space. This room conjoins the two areas of the house from sleeping areas to daytime use. This room makes an excellent sitting room, or it could be a dining room depending on your needs, but what it does do is transport you from the original part of house to the extension.
..and what an extension it is, accessed via a hallway which has storage and a wc, suddenly you find yourself in a room that feels cathedral like. There’s a wrap around kitchen with a breakfast bar, and an open utility room at the rear which leads through to the garage. The kitchen area is slightly elevated above the lounge by two shallow steps, and the effect it has on the room needs to be seen to be appreciated. Sitting in the lounge area with the doors open and the sounds of the breeze in the trees outside will make you feel like you’re on holiday. It’s peaceful and calm, and i can’t imagine as person who wouldn’t want that in their life.
Just off of the lounge is the final bedroom which features it’s own private en suite shower room. Now this could be designated as the master bedroom, or due to its distance from the other bedroom it would make a fantastic guest suite.
Outside there is a beautifully established rear garden with a large lawned area. There is also a hidden, secluded garden area alongside the brick built shed and green house. Its position makes it the perfect space to create an entertainments area and its aspect allows you to can enjoy every last drop of sunshine.
To the front there is a gated driveway in front of the garage, and beyond there is parking for as many cars as you need.
If a bungalow in the best of areas is what you’re looking for, then this is it. If it’s a family home, then it deserves you attention, if it’s a multi generational property, then look no further… i could go on. Such a versatile property can adjusted to fit to your needs, all you need is the space - and you have it here in abundance.
