5Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
We have come to love the area - grocery, restaurants, shops, and parks are all nearby. The building is tucked away on the edge of the King's Cross estate, making it both accessible to the estate and Granary Square while remaining quiet and comfortable. Despite being on the intersection of two busy train lines, noise isn't an issue.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
The building management has always been responsive to our requests. The management company (Related Argent) has been a bit slow to work through lease agreements and questions, but overall no complaints.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
For the level of service offered and how well the building is taken care of, I would've expected more community interaction via a WhatsApp group or other semi-official channel. The only visibility into packages besides asking the team is via a fairly clunky web portal which felt a bit low-tech, given how high end the tech is in the common spaces and around the building.

5Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
Living in the Author Building at King’s Cross has its ups and downs. On the plus side, the area is vibrant and well-connected. You’ve got Granary Square and Coal Drops Yard just a short walk away, with plenty of restaurants, cafés, and boutique shops. There’s a good mix of casual spots and higher-end dining, and open spaces like Lewis Cubitt Park and Regent’s Canal are great for a walk or sitting out on a nice day. Transport is one of the strongest points. King’s Cross St Pancras is just around the corner, with access to six Underground lines, national rail, and the Eurostar. That said, the area can feel quite busy, especially during rush hours or tourist season. Overall, it’s a convenient and lively place to live, but not the quietest.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Repairs are usually addressed within a reasonable timeframe, and communication is decent. Thanks to Ernest.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
One thing I wish I’d known before moving in is how busy the area can get, especially around King’s Cross station and Coal Drops Yard. It’s a great location,

The location is exceptional. Coal Drops Yard is moments away, with great transport links. There is so much to do locally, it’s a fantastic place to live.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Yes, all issues have been dealt with quickly and efficiently.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
When the windows are open it can be quite noisy from the trains.
