The original centre is found in the upper part of the town with a cluster layout around the church, and buildings sloping down the incline. Historical buildings to examine include the baronial mansion and the ancient church of Santa Lucia.
Throughout the year the town enjoys several religious festivals, not to be missed.
The population of 952 has a weekly market that takes place each Tuesday morning and sells local produce. There is a bar in the village with the larger towns of Raiano, Prato Peligna and Sulmona, with all facilities, just 15-20 minutes away, by car. A small supermarket and two pizzerias are only three kilometres from the centre of Prezza.
