There are many beautiful towns to explore in the south of France but Narbonne is up there with the best.  It is just 15 miles from the Mediterranean Sea , and is known for its stunning architecture, rich cuisine and history.  It sits on the Canal de la Robine.  Walk along the towpath, or stop at one of the many charming shops and restaurants and don't forget to cross the "Merchants Bridge".  There is a centuries old covered market, open every morning, where you can buy everything from olives to oysters!

All in all, there is much to attract visitors to the region.  It is not difficult to imagine that a chic bed & breakfast business would do well here.
