Description
Planning permission was granted under appeal on the 28th May 2025 as follows:-
Appeal Ref: APP/E2205/W/24/3358227 Agricultural Buildings Named Dg Grinding, Biddenden, Kent TN27 8DH.
Granted permitted development to convert the agricultural building into a residential house.
The approved conversion retains the existing structure and roof cladding; buyers may wish to seek an asbestos assessment (although it may be comprised of Arcon corrugated fibre cement). Planning is approved provided that the cladding is repaired and not removed. A structural survey has confirmed this is possible.

Subject to planning, there is potential to gain further permission for a different residential property. The owner has had plans drawn up to this effect which could be made available to a potential purchaser.
Services:
Water – to be connected. Applicant to make own investigations.
Electricity – An existing independent and metered electricity supply is available on the plot.
Drainage – It is planned that the new dwelling will have a brand new sewage treatment plant.
