Description
As you step into the house, you are greeted by a spacious and light-filled kitchen. It is the hub of the house and great for entertaining, with a centre island that holds the built-in fridge and freezer. There is also a built-in dishwasher as well as a Range cooker. The dining area is in the orangery, with double doors opening to the natural limestone patio and back garden. We enjoy sitting in the evening sun here the most!
The living room is lovely and light, and we have had a Dartmoor-made Dean Forge log burner installed, which certainly adds to the cosiness of the room. On the ground floor you can also find two double bedrooms and a bathroom, which we have recently updated with a new bath and a shower.
Upstairs is the home of the master bedroom with built-in wardrobes and a recently updated en-suite. Three separate loft spaces are also accessible from this room, so there is plenty of storage. Outdoors, there is an inner courtyard with a shed for more storage and a space for a washing machine. The courtyard is a perfect suntrap during the day.
The driveway is long and has space for at least 3 cars. There is no traffic noise here at all, and it is a very child- and dog-friendly location. Being in Brixham has inspired us both to be more creative and we have loved doing so many amazing coastal walks here. It really is breathtakingly beautiful. We are now ready for new adventures, so come and view this fun and light-filled house and see if it could be the perfect home for you!
