Bungalows this size and with these views and in this condition rarely come to the open market, and after spending a day there, I can totally understand why. Sure, there are many bungalows around in this location but not with these views and large garden, this is perfect - but have a read through and see for yourself....
Gwernymynydd is a small Village just on the periphery of Mold, with a couple of good pubs and a fabulous friendly atmosphere when you walk around. You can easily walk to Mold from here too, where you'll find an excellent array of supermarkets, pubs, wine bars, restaurants as well many other shops to choose from....oh and a great estate agents....no not Cavendish (only kidding)
No.4 Uwch Y Dre is the second to last Bungalow found at the end of the road, ideal if you have children or grandchildren, as they can play safely in the road without fear of being run over......I say this, but kids don't play in the street anymore, in fact, I spend a lot of time on housing estates, and kids just don't seem to play....but if they did, this would be one less thing to worry about....tick!
Pulling up outside, the first thing, second actually as the views are fabulous and you'll see them first, is the large and rather fancy, block paved driveway. This runs all the way to the attached garage and there is another stone area for more parking to the side of the driveway. Ample parking is one great big tick you can mark off.
The front door is covered by a slight overhang from the roof, which provides some shelter from the elements, before you step inside into the entrance porch.
It's kept nice and bright thanks to the glass panels in the front door, as well as the doors leading into the main entrance hall. Some large tiles on the floor welcome you in and continue to lead you through the rest of the home. They also make for easy cleaning, which is a theme that this home provides.
Turning left as we enter the home, the first door on our left opens into, what is currently, the office. Whatever use you need this room for, it can easily adapt. You can make this bedroom four, as there's plenty of room for a single bed and free standing furniture. It could be a games room, play room, or an ideal nursery. The picture window looks out over the front offering fabulous far reaching views.
The next room along is the lovely and spacious dual aspect lounge, and so here you can take in the fabulous views from two different angles. As you'd expect, it's nice and bright and offers room for all of your traditional sofas as well as free standing furniture. A real living flame gas fire sits centre stage with its ornate surround, offering a hint of the past but without the dirty hassle. This is a room to sit and catch up with friends or enjoy a great movie night.
From the lounge we turn left and step into the large kitchen / dining room. Usually the two words don't go together as the dining room is typically no larger than a postage stamp.....but here, it actually does what it says, you can dine and entertain, in style too. If you love entertaining friends and family, then this is the place to do it.
The dual aspect windows offer views over the side and rear gardens and also help keep it nice and light. A set of patio doors open to allow the outside in and almost gives that feel of AL-Fresco dining. A large patio sits just outside, so when the weather is hot, Al-Fresco it is. This kitchen has a real Mediterranean feel to it, a tiled floor and part tiled walls, with cream stylish units all to help keep it cool during the summer months.
A patio runs along the bungalow and provides a great place to sit and relax and enjoy the outside. Where the patio finishes some crushed stone offers a home for a large table and chairs, although how you configure the outside, is entirely up to you.
An open wooden BBQ shed has it own steps and patio area with a Summer-House just a little further along. These compliment each other, ideal for when it's hot and friends are here or just as great if you're home alone and want to sit, relax and enjoy a good book and a glass of vino. The whole garden is kept nice and private and completely enclosed by hedges and a wooden fence. If sunbathing naked is your thing, TICK!
Next along the corridor we come to the family bathroom, and what a fabulous sized room this is. Fully tiled on the floor and walls, this bathroom offers you the best of both worlds. You have a panelled bath with a hand held shower attachment, and also a separate shower cubicle. There's a contemporary vanity sink, while let's not forget the all important WC. A heated towel rail is there to keep your towels nice and toasty and then two frosted windows let ample light flood in and also help keep any prying eyes out....not that it's that kind of area!!
Then we come to the second and third bedrooms, both are pretty much the same size.....the way I see it is, you wouldn't be fighting your siblings over which one is yours. Both are easily capable of housing double beds and any amount of free standing furniture. The only difference between the two is that one offers views over the front and the other over the rear - in my eyes, both are great!
The main bedroom is the bedroom that, if you had to fight over one, it would be this one.....but I guess it goes to the one who pays the mortgage! It sits at the far end of the bungalow and could easily have a dividing corridor added, that is if you ever wanted more room, you could add a corridor and go straight into the attached garage*. With a very attractive dark oak effect floor, this room is spacious, in fact, a super king bed would even get lost in here. A set of patio doors open out to the rear garden and offer a lovely added feature to this room.

The En-suite adds the finishing touch of class to this fantastic bungalow. Tiled floors and walls are there for easy maintenance, with another heated towel rail for comfort on the colder days. A vanity sink unit provides a home for the things we need but don't necessarily want on show. A P-shape bath lets you soak in peace with the bulky end providing space for the hand held shower to reach those, hard to reach places. A curved glass panel helps to keep the outside area dry. The frosted window allows light in and you know what, out!
