Merryman Drive has been our first home, and over the past seven years, we've created so many beautiful memories here.
One of our favourite features is the south-facing garden – it’s the perfect spot to relax and soak up the sunshine. Inside, we love the open-plan kitchen and living area. It's made being able to cook easy whilst keeping an eye on our little ones. The warm air heating system has been very efficient, especially during those colder months. It heats the house quickly and keeps it cosy, which we’ve really appreciated over the years.
Just a short five-minute walk from the house is the beautiful Heath Lake. We first discovered it on Christmas Eve during our first year at Merryman Drive, and it quickly became a favourite place. It’s where we got engaged during a walk in 2020, amidst the COVID restrictions. Now, five years on, we walk those same paths with our two beautiful boys – a place that truly holds a special place in our hearts.
We’ve absolutely loved living here, the neighbourhood is lovely and we have made some special friendships too. While it’s bittersweet to leave, it’s time for us to upsize as our family continues to grow. Merryman Drive will always be a home full of happy memories.


Will and Mike's Comment...
This isn't the first time we've had the pleasure of selling a home in the renowned Heath Lake Park development, this is such a popular development for families with some great looking homes. This home has some great space on offer and could make the perfect first time or investment purchase. Our sellers have perfectly summed up why not only is this a great house but also a fantastic location with so much right on your doorstep.

As you can see from the details, the house has some excellent space on offer both upstairs and downstairs. The open arrangement downstairs really does give you a sense of space and is great for entertaining, whist at the entrance to the home you have room for shoes and coats. To the back you have a refitted kitchen overlooking the south facing garden letting in plenty of natural light. There is also a good size cupboard here which could make an ideal pantry or just somewhere for the hoover and ironing board. Just next to this you have the warm air heating system which works really well to provide almost instant heat on those colder days, however this could replaced for a more traditional radiator system with the boiler in the loft and creating another extra cupboard space in the kitchen.

Upstairs both of the bedrooms are good sizes being both able to accommodate double beds. The master bedroom is to the front which has storage over the top of the stairs and enough space for free standing wardrobes or potential to have built in. Our sellers are currently using bedroom two at the back at the master and as you can see its's a great size and also has a built in cupboard. The bathroom sits in the middle and has been refitted to a good standard as you can see, it also has a handy cupboard in it too.


The garden as we've mentioned is south facing and such a sun trap, coupled with the decking area it creates an ideal entertaining space. You've also got rear access from here and the benefit of both allocated parking and a garage. With the garage backing onto the house to the side, there could be the opportunity (STP) of knocking through into it to create more living space. If you are looking for a home in a great location then this really is not one to miss out on, we can't wait to take you on a tour in person.

Merryman Drive is set with in the ever popular Heath Lake Park development just off of New Wokingham Road. This fabulous location gives you direct access as we've mentioned onto Heath Lake with its fantastic wildlife and walking trails. If you're commuting, Crowthorne train station is just a 25 minute walk away and there are bus links close by on New Wokingham Road. Transport links into London are within easy reach via the A329, M3 and M4 from here. This home falls under many of Crowthorne's local school catchments including the popular and Ofsted Outstanding Edgbarrow Secondary School and Hatch Ride Primary School, both within walking distance. For convenience there is a parade of shops on Greenwood Road which include a Tesco Express but for a larger shop, Crowthorne's High Street offers a huge variety of amenities and is only a 5 minute car journey away. If you looking for a little more however, then the Lexicon shopping centre is just over 10 minutes in the car with a huge variety of popular retailers and places to eat.
