ACCOMMODATION

A historic circa 1835 built Grade II listed building by architect Gilbert Scott in a classical style with a charming design in a great location close to the town centre.  This former 'Tavistock Union Workhouse' now provides character residential apartments where this apartment sits in the centre of a three storey octagonal building.   It's an intriguing and well proportioned apartment, excellently presented and offers a potential purchaser the opportunity to move straight in with very little to do.

On entering the apartment you are greeting by an inviting tiled central entrance hallway with doors leading to two bedrooms, bathroom and two openings to the kitchen and lounge/diner.  The front of the apartment is southerly facing with five sash windows which allows plenty of natural light to flow through and provides lovely pleasant elevated views.  Both to the front and rear really shows off the original octagonal and oblique design, perfect if you want an interesting and character property.

The kitchen is fitted with modern matching base and eye levels units with wooden worktops and tiled splashbacks, inset Franke Corian sink with drainer and hose mixer tap, four ring mains gas hob with electric oven under (please note electric cooker open to negotiation), space and plumbing for washing machine and dishwasher, space for fridge/freezer.

The dining area and lounge offers a great feeling of space and comfort with a fireplace with mantle and surround with a inset gas fire.  An ideal area for a dining table and living space at the far end of room.

The main bedroom has dual aspect sash windows to the rear, a free standing triple mirrored wardrobe with hanging rails, shelving and overhead storage. Bedroom two is a good size room and includes a covered wall mounted Worcester mains gas combination boiler.

The bathroom is fitted with a three piece white suite of low level WC, bath with tiled splashbacks with electric Triton shower over and a vanity wash hand basin with mixer tap and cupboards under and wall mounted mirrored medicine cabinet over, ceiling spotlights and extractor fan.

The communal off road parking area is for residents only and one car per licensed driver.  So residents who drive and have a car are allowed a parking space.

There are also lovely communal gardens which residents have the use of.

About eXp UK, South West

1 Northumberland Avenue, Trafalgar Square, London, WC2N 5BW

eXp UK are the newest estate agency business, powering individual agents around the UK to provide a personal service and experience to help get you moved.

Here are the top 7 things you need to know when moving home:

Get your house valued by 3 different agents before you put it on the market

Don't pick the agent that values it the highest, without evidence of other properties sold in the same area

It's always best to put your house on the market before you find a property

The estate agent acts for the seller and is there to get the seller the best price possible

Understand the length of time it can take - 14 weeks from when you accept an offer, or have an offer accepted to move in! A long time!

It can get stressful, but speak to your agent and your solicitor and they will put you in the picture

Be nice to estate agents - we're pretty nice people, offer some great advice and will help to get you moved ;-)
