This 20ha smallholding is situated in the rural Groenfontyn Estate in the Swartland Region. The house is eco-friendly and blends perfectly into the landscape, although it also allows for "lock-up-and-go". This contemporary home blends in perfectly with the environment. The living room is built on a concrete foundation and boasts a high ceiling, while the rest of the house stands on stilts to compensate for the site's slope. The impressive screens on the North-facing facade of the home open up to allow for a seamless indoor-outdoor look. Open, they serve as a pergola providing shade; when closed, it provide extra security.

When the stacked doors in the open-plan living room are open, and the screens are tilted, you feel entirely connected and integrated with the natural surroundings. The deck leads to the natural eco pool. The swimming area of the pool is 8m x 4m.

Currently, the farm has 160 Dragon Fruit trees which produce around 150kg of fruit annually. There is an 18sqm Wendy house, toolroom, and water pump house where the borehole is situated. The borehole delivers approx 5000 Litres of water per hour.

The Groenfontyn Estate has a HOA which promotes and enforces standards for high-quality living. It has Architectural Guidelines that allow 1 x main house, 1 x managers' house, and 2 x laborer's cottages. (Not for commercial use)
