Description

Location

Luckett is a picturesque Cornish village with a thriving community spirit. Surrounding the village are wonderful walks through the Tamar Valley to the River Tamar.

Quiet but by no means isolated, Luckett is approximately 2 miles from the self contained village of Stoke Climsland, with a primary school, post office/general stores, social club/village hall and Duchy Agricultural College.

Further shopping facilities and supermarkets can be found in the town of Callington 4 miles away with schooling to A-level standard, doctors, dentists and  a veterinary surgery.

Historic Tavistock is 9 miles to the east; a thriving 'stannary' and award winning market town, with regular farmers' markets and a large variety of independent shops and cafes. The town is rich in history dating back to the 10th century and is famed for being the birthplace of Sir Francis Drake; with various primary schools, both state and private secondary schools, swimming pools and tennis courts.

The former market town of Launceston is 10 miles to the north giving access to the A30 which links Cornwall to the M5 and beyond.
