The property is in a very privileged location, in the small seaside town of Kolymbari and right in front of the large sandy beach of the area. The building is bright with frontage on the main road of the town while on the sea side there is a beautiful garden as well as enough space if you want to add a swimming pool. The ground floor is old and stone. It was completely restored and renovated in 1981 while the upper floor was added in the same year.

Due to the commercial interest of the area on the south side, the main entrance was designed with an arch and with a width that allows any possible commercial use. Currently, inside we find the living room while at the back are the kitchen as well as a bedroom that face the sea. On the ground floor there is also a bathroom. The layout is such that the building can be divided into two apartments or have mixed use with a commercial store below. A wooden staircase leads to the upper floor, which has a full kitchen, ideal with the existing layout for preparing breakfast. Upstairs, we find three bedrooms, the main one of which is large enough in order to accommodate a living area and dining space.

The region has seen rapid growth and offers great potential in the future. Within a short walk there are many big and small lodging units, supermarkets that are open all year round, a bank as well as many cafes and restaurants with great food along the coast. The town also has a new marina, which is expected to improve the local investment climate and to create growth in tourism in the near future. In a few minutes' drive there is a junction of the northern highway of Crete, from where you can go to the center of the city of Chania and the airport in about 30 and 40 minutes' drive, respectively.
