Chora Sfakion, which is about 20 minutes' drive, has a port with frequent routes to nearby destinations. The distance from Chania is about 1 hour and 30 minutes, from the airport 1 hour and 40 minutes and from the city of Rethymnon 1 hour and 20 minutes.
