The house is located in a traditional village east of Chora Sfakion and has been built on the site of an old olive oil mill. The building has been completely reconstructed with the standards of a modern house. A reconstructed arch on the ground floor as well as the generous sizes of each room have been preserved as features. The property is on a hillside on the edge of the village, from where it has unobstructed views over a verdant plain and up to the sea and the famous castle of the area in the distance.

At the frontage of the plot we find a garage with an electric door at the street level, where you can park a vehicle. An external staircase leads to a terrace a little higher, where a beautiful garden with grass has been landscaped. Above the garage there is also a planted rooftop while all this space is ideal in case you want to add a swimming pool. The ground floor of the house is located a few steps higher, where we find a good-sized covered terrace with built barbecue and an outdoor breakfast bar with kitchen cabinets.

The ground floor consists of a large sitting-reception area, a living space with a fireplace at the back and a kitchen with a pantry. Also on the ground floor are one of the bedrooms as well as a bathroom for the guests with a shower. An impressive wooden staircase leads upstairs, where we find a wide central hallway that is connected to all the areas. The floor has its own breakfast-kitchen as well as an exit to a beautiful balcony. Upstairs, there are a total of three bedrooms, a central bathroom with a bathtub as well as an en-suite bathroom in one of the bedrooms.

The wider area has several shops and some services. Along the coast you will find many beautiful traditional taverns and rooms to let that attract tourists and locals all year round. The beach of Frangokastelo is quite popular, which makes the plot suitable for professional use. Chora Sfakion, which is about 20 minutes' drive, has a port with frequent routes to nearby destinations. The distance from Chania is about 1 hour and 30 minutes, from the airport 1 hour and 40 minutes and from the city of Rethymnon 1 hour and 20 minutes.
