The property is in a picturesque village of the municipality Platanias, just 20 southwest of the city center of Chania. It is a well-maintained two-level detached house, which has been built on a hillside from where it offers panoramic views over the verdant valley of the Keritis River and up to the White Mountains in the distance. The area is on the edge of the village so that there is the necessary privacy and tranquility while the road in front of the property leads to the countless orchards and olive groves that surround the village.

The village is on the way to the Omalos plateau and the Botanical park of Crete, which is less than 10 minutes' drive. It has several permanent residents. There are also a mini market, a pharmacy and cafes within walking distance from the property. Within 5 minutes is the small town of Alikianos, where there are schools, supermarkets, a bank and several shops and services. The city and the airport of Chania are about 20 and 30 minutes' drive, respectively. The property is definitely a great choice for your new permanent or holiday home and the sale price is more than fair, given its quality, the size and the features.
