Before we go inside our house we find a covered terrace that faces over the village, which is ideal for enjoying your breakfast or dinner. The ground-floor bedroom is currently used as a dining room but has a large built-in wardrobe and exit to a small veranda and therefore can easily be used for its original purpose. The kitchen has been recently renovated and a countertop and many modern cabinets have been added. An internal staircase leads upstairs, where we find a central bathroom with bathtub, a first-floor balcony and two bedrooms.

The village is on the way to the Omalos plateau and the Botanical park of Crete, which is less than 10 minutes' drive. It has several permanent residents. There are also a mini market, a pharmacy and cafes within walking distance from the property. Within 5 minutes is the small town of Alikianos, where there are schools, supermarkets, a bank and several shops and services. The city and the airport of Chania are about 20 and 30 minutes' drive, respectively. The property is definitely a great choice for your new permanent or holiday home and the sale price is more than fair, given its quality, the size and the features.
