The property is in a village between Tavronitis and Kolymbari in the municipality Platanias, on the edge of the village and with access to the countless olive groves of the area. It is an independent detached house that has been built in a complex of 5 houses, which share a small private driveway and each has a plot and garden in its exclusive use. The plot of the house is fenced and therefore offers excellent privacy while on the sea side there is a high wall that ensures impressive panoramic views.

The surrounding area of the house is accessible by a traditional-style wooden door. The house is located on the western edge and thus remains as much free space as possible while on the other sides there is gravel for easy maintenance. One part has been configured into a courtyard with stone slabs while there is also a pergola, which you can cover with reeds and here you may enjoy your coffee or meal outside and in the shade all day. The house also has a built barbecue. There is a shared parking space in the driveway of the complex while the area is sparsely built and therefore there is no problem with parking. The plot is large enough if you want to add a swimming pool in the future or simply if you want to create a beautiful flower garden. There is also a remaining buildable area that allows you to extend one of the rooms or add an external storage space.

The house is arranged over two levels. The ground floor has an open-plan living, dining and kitchen area with a ceiling with wooden lining and an arch that faces the sea and the courtyard. The bathroom of the house is also on the ground floor and has a shower while one of the two bedrooms is located downstairs. The second bedroom occupies the upper level, which is on a loft and is accessible by a metal staircase. The floor can alternatively be used as an office and has an exit to a balcony with impressive views over the countless olive groves of the area.

The mildly developed area has verdant spaces and mostly luxurious residences. Within walking distance there is a long pebbly beach, which has a section with facilities but its largest part is pretty quiet. Within walking distance you will also find restaurants, supermarkets, bakery, pharmacy and some other stores. Within 5 minutes' drive is the small town Kolymbari, where you can find banks, many taverns, schools of all levels and more. The city and the airport of Chania are about 35 and 40 minutes' drive, respectively.
