Enjoying a mild and sunny climate, an exceptional green setting, the municipality of Mortagne-Sur-Gironde is located in the southwestern part of the department of Charente-Maritime, on the right bank of the estuary of the Gironde, halfway between the towns of Blaye, south (in the department of Gironde), and Royan, in the north.
