Description

With this ideal house it is LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION with a fantastic sized plot and grounds. Back Lane is a little known gem and just 5 minutes from the centre of Great Malvern. Price reduced to sell. Serious offers considered.

Tucked discreetly away even the locals don't know it is here (video is available on request which I think is really helpful to view). The front door is located to the right hand side of the house and could do with a porch area) or alternatively turn the left hand side garage into a utility room, add a large window, add stairs up to the kitchen, add a front door there and voila. A front door at the front, enter, take off shoes or boots and in you go.

Newlands House has a large driveway suitable for many cars and or a camper van, a double garage and has the flexibility to be a fabulous forever home. What I like about it is the 15 ft sitting room with doors out to the adorable private garden, the large eat in kitchen, 17 ft x 12 ft with breath taking views, that the main bedroom is downstairs with its own large, private terrace and ensuite shower and then 2 bedrooms are on the first floor, ideal for children to have their privacy and a fourth bedroom that would be an ideal home office. There is some cosmetic work to do and this is reflected in the price. This house has plentiful storage and cupboard space plus a good sized loft.

You could remove the shower room in one of the bedrooms that has doors to the beautiful garden. If you took the cupboard and shower room out you would have a large ground floor bedroom with a bathroom next to it on ground level. Do check the floorpan to ensure the access and levels work for you.

If you park at the top of the large drive you only have a few steps up to the front door which is located on the right hand side of the house. Once in the house, all on one level is the large kitchen, sizeable sitting room and what could be a large bedroom plus the family bathroom.

Head up to 2 bedrooms on the first floor, one is currently used as a study/home office and the other is the lovely 'pink room', which is an ideal third bedroom, or knock into one to make a large bedroom or 2nd sitting room, plus there is a handy cloakroom.

As I mentioned, you head down wooden stairs to the large main bedroom from the ground floor and this has its own ensuite shower room, hidden behind the wardrobes which I would remove, add a door to the shower room, which I feel would enhance this good sized bedroom and out via sliding doors to a large, pretty terrace on which to enjoy your morning coffee.

The grounds and garden are adorable, with a flat easy to maintain lawn and the rest has been meticulously planned and designed to be easy to look after.

There is a large decked area off the sitting room allowing you an inviting, restful space to enjoy. The garden is peaceful and not overlooked. There is an outdoor tap and power point and 2 large, discreet sheds to house all your gardening implements. For those that appreciate mature, attractive gardens surrounding you, this will tick all boxes.

If you are willing to update a bit to your taste, in my opinion this house is ideal, perfect location and a home to make your own.

We look forward to showing you this houses charm.
