There is excellent schooling within the area with very popular and well attended primary schools in the villages of Amport and Abbotts Ann, and a good selection of primary and secondary schools in Andover and Stockbridge. There are two first-class pre-prep and preparatory schools in the area, one being Rookwood in Andover and the other, Farleigh School in nearby Red Rice. Further afield in Winchester you will find Winchester College, Pilgrims Prep School and St Swithun's School for Girls which are all within easy driving distance. There are a large number of well-regarded state assisted schools including Peter Symonds Sixth Form College. Salisbury offers a fantastic range of independent schools including Godolphin, Leehurst Swan and The Cathedral School, as well as Bishop Wordsworths and South Wilts Grammar Schools.
