Arthurfield Green in Kingskettle takes its name from the former Arthurfield Works, a linen weaving factory established in 1891. The factory closed in the late 1970s. Mill House, 4 Arthurfield Green, is the largest of six houses built on the site. A seventh plot remains undeveloped.

Location
Mill House, 4 Arthurfield Geen, is in a cul-de-sac of six houses between the villages of Kettlebridge and Kingskettle in the Howe of Fife. Kingskettle was originally a linen producing village but is now primarily home to commuters.
The setting is highly accessible. Ladybank railway station is 1.3 miles to the north. The A92 is less than 3 miles from the house and provides a dual carriageway link south to Glenrothes and Kirkcaldy and connects to the M90. Edinburgh is 38 miles away. Dundee and Perth are both within 22 miles. There are bus services direct to Edinburgh and St Andrews from the village.
Kettle Primary School, built in 1875, is next to the house. Secondary education is provided at the Bell Baxter High School in Cupar.
The Howe of Fife is known for its fertile farmland. Vegetable processing company Kettle Produce have a processing site nearby to serve the surrounding farms.

Directions
Driving north on the A92 from Glenrothes continue to the roundabout at the end of the dual carriageway. Turn right onto the A914 signposted to Cupar. Continue to Kettlebridge and take the first turning on the left into Back Park. Continue to the end and turn right into Rumdewan. Follow this road towards Kingskettle.
Arthurfield Green is on the left hand side, just before the corner. Go into the road, turn sharp right and Mill House is straight ahead, on the corner.
