Beautiful apartment on the second and attic floor of a historic building in the centre of Chianni, a town rich in history, culture and traditions, offering all amenities within walking distance.

The apartment is accessed from the ground floor from a big wooden door, shared between just three apartments.

Enter into the large living room - in fact two rooms with an archway between them - with views of the village and to the hills beyond. With a cosy and warm atmosphere, there's a a pellet stove and an air conditioning unit (hot/cold). From the living room, a hallway leads to the beautiful kitchen, a bright and relaxing space that has access to the balcony where you can sit and enjoy a good coffee or a glass of wine with panoramic views. Along the wide corridor, where there is a wardrobe for storing linen and other items, there are three bedrooms, all with views of the hills over which you can watch the sun rise in the morning. A newly renovated bathroom completes the accommodation, with views even from the shower.

From the entrance of the apartment, there are two steps to reach a very convenient attic storage room that can be used as a laundry room, and for storage.

The house is a real gem, well renovated with many beautifully preserved rustic details such as beamed ceilings and exposed stone, but at the same time very practical and comfortable to live in as a main residence or holiday home.

Utilites are connected and systems are in working order; the property is ready to be lived in.

Chianni is a lovely town in Tuscany with some nice shops, good coffee bars, a great new bistro and a lovely hotel with small spa (open to non-residents) which is all just a very short stroll away. It is just 40 mins from Pisa airport. The coastal cities of Castiglioncello and Cecina, the golf courses of Pisa and Castelfalfi, and the historic towns of Volterra and San Gimignano are all close by, and each make a wonderful day out. The town is located in Valdera in Central Tuscany between Pisa and Florence. This colourful landscape of rolling hills is dotted with medieval villages, castles and lanes flanked with tall dark green cypress trees, all of which epitomise the Tuscan landscape. The nearby città d’arte (cities of art) include Volterra, San Gimignano, Palaia and Florence, each offering splendid art and architecture to admire.

In Lajatico, Andrea Bocelli, the famous tenor, was born and it is in the heart of Valdera that his Teatro del Silenzio (the Theatre of Silence) draws some of the biggest names in opera, when he hosts a summer festival each year in July. The spa town of Casciana Terme, also in the area, has thermal water pools, indoor and out with a spa which is open to visitors to enjoy. It is a pretty town with piazzas and cafeès serving the local wine.
