Description
Nestled at the end of a quiet no through private road, with an attractive gated entrance opening onto a large block paved driveway. This offers parking and turning for several vehicles in addition to an integral double garage.
A private front garden leads you up to a deep covered entrance porch where a modern UPC front door opens into a spacious and welcoming hallway.
There is a separate additional entrance and hallway around the side of the house; which reflects the nature of the house, which can be divided into house and annex or (as the current vendor uses it) as one large family house offering excellent versatility.
To the front of the main house is a large formal sitting room with a central fireplace currently housing a remote control gas fire. To the rear is a modern open plan kitchen dining room, with patio doors from the dining area onto the rear garden. The kitchen is fitted with an excellent range of drawer and cupboard storage including an integrated dishwasher and double oven/grill plus gas hob with space for an American fridge freezer. Off the kitchen is a useful utility room with cloakroom and garden access.
From the dining area there are internal double doors to a family/tv room. This was designed as a ground floor annex bedroom originally and has an en suite shower room. A door from the family room takes you through to a separate hallway with w/c, kitchen and sitting room (although this is currently used as a study).
There are two separate staircases to the 1st floor which offers five bedrooms (all with built in wardrobes) and three bath/shower rooms; the master bedrooms being particularly generous with an en suite featuring both a bath and separate shower.
The house enjoys wrap around gardens, mainly laid to lawn with mature tree’s and hedging providing screening and privacy, interspersed with shrubs and floral borders. Centrally positioned is an attractive Indian Sandstone paved patio an ideal spot for al fresco dining or entertaining. Adjacent to this is a useful shed with light and power, and finally attached to the dining area is an electric awning, providing welcome shade in the hottest of the sunny weather.
