Other towns and villages well worth exploring in the local area include Verteillac, Tocane and Montagrier.  Riberac is the nearest main town and there is a big market here every Friday.  Brantome and Bordeilles are perfect for a day trip and Perigueux market on a Saturday morning is not to be missed!
