Description
Description
The renowned winery is situated was taken over by the current owners in the 1960s. The 360-square-meter agricultural storage cellar is fully equipped for wine business and production and has various vineyard facilities and equipment as well as tractors and machinery. Nearby are hamlets with villas and farmhouses currently used for accommodation.
Outdoor spaces
The 15.32-hectare estate has no less than 13.35 ha of vineyards, all of which are excellently productive and divided into vintages: 1.70 ha are 45-year-old vineyards, 4.94 ha are 25-year-old vineyards, 0.84 ha are 22-year-old vineyards, 2.52 ha are 15-year-old vineyards, 2.35 ha are 2-year-old vineyards, and 1 ha are 1-year-old vineyards. Arable fields cover 1.97 ha. The Farm's vineyards are distributed without uniformity but according to the natural conformation of the land with slopes typical of mountain viticulture, carved between woods and trees as if they were a picture of natural beauty. The tenacious and austere Sangiovese grape variety stands out, but the gentle Pinot Noir and the soft Syrah are also located in the wetter and cooler areas of the estate. Wine production has always been the farm's main activity and boasts an excellent Chianti Rufina wine. Located at an altitude of between 300 and 600 meters in the highest part of Chianti Rufina, where the climate is greatly affected by the proximity of the mountains that are behind us and in summer benefits from constant ventilation and a noticeable temperature range between night and day, an ideal climate for productions of fine and expressive wines.
State and finishes
The winery located at the entrance to the estate is a stone building that has always been used for this purpose, witness the monumental oak wood press used for stretching the grapes on whose front is engraved the year 1806. Inside are both the steel tanks used for alcoholic fermentation and the concrete tanks used for subsequent malolactic fermentation, while the barriques for wines that must mature in wood are located in the villa's subsoil, an ideal place for its constant temperatures.
Potential uses
Ideal choice for those who wish to continue and increase the winery's perfectly established winemaking activity.
Location
Close to Florence and from all the main services of the city center, it is only ten kilometers from the Casentino Forest National Park, thus enjoying a strategic location between the wildest and most unspoiled part of the Tuscan landscape and its famous capital.
There is a possibility to buy also the elegant manor house of about 1400 sq. m. and perfectly renovated in 2007, price to be defined.
