Gite #1
We enter into large living room featuring an impressive stone fireplace with wood burner. Stone walls and high ceiling with visible beams make this an impressive and welcoming space. Through to the separate kitchen dining room with fully equipped modern units we continue with the rustic stone walls and beamed ceiling features, a comfortable space to enjoy time with family or friends. From the living area we have a small hall leading to the beautifully refurbished bathroom with italian shower and a separate W.C. The open staircase takes us to the first floor where we have three double bedrooms offering countryside views from the windows.

From the terrace we enter into the living/dining/kitchen featuring the finished stone walls and beamed ceiling. At the rear we have a modern shower room with W.C. The rear garden area can also be accessed from here. The open staircase takes us to the first floor where we find a small hallway with closet and two bedrooms, one double and the other with bunk beds.

Entering from the terrace we have a similar layout to gite #2 with an open plan living/dining/kitchen configuration. At the rear there is a modern shower room with W.C. Spacious south facing terrace with gardens to the side and rear of the property offer plenty of spaces to either enjoy or shade from the sun and relax in peace.

The house is located in the village of Colleville-sur-Mer, one of the three villages perched above the spectacular Omaha beach and all connected by the beach and the Vélomaritime cycle route. There are three impressive museums and multiple restaurants between the villages. In our village we also have the American cemetery and a hotel with restaurant just a short walk from the property. A bus service runs along the coast from Bayeux to Grandcamp Maisy, very useful for hop on hop off visits to all of the attractions available locally. The lively fishing port town of Port-en-Bessin is five minutes by car and offers amenities including a supermarket, shops and restaurants. Bayeux has a train link with service to Cherbourg, Paris and beyond. The Vélomaritime cycle route passing through the village hugs the coast from Dunkerque in the north to Roscoff in the west, with the D-day beaches nestled in the middle. The route offers mile after mile of beautiful scenery and opportunities to visit some of the most famous sites in France. Two ferry ports within an hours drive giving easy access to the U.K. and Ireland.
